The name “WBH” is derived from “World Brothers Holdings.” This reflects our company’s philosophy: regardless of nationality, skin color, age, gender, or religion, we see the world as one big family and place the highest value on familial love and human connection.
According to the national census, Japan’s working-age population (ages 15 to 64), which supports the economy, is expected to decrease from 81.03 million in 2010 to 55.4 million by 2050. As of June 2016, there were 75.09 million working-age individuals for 3.58 million small- and medium-sized enterprises. With this imbalance between the number of businesses and available workers, there is growing concern that many companies may go bankrupt due to labor shortages.
In light of this, we — including myself as a foreigner living in Japan — arrived at a renewed sense of purpose: **to contribute to resolving Japan’s labor shortage from the standpoint of foreigners residing in Japan**.
However, in reality, many foreigners face significant barriers such as language, culture, and customs, while many companies also struggle with intercultural communication when trying to accept foreign workers.
To bridge the gap between this ideal and reality, we established **WBH Co., Ltd.** in 2019 as a staffing agency with the mission: “Eliminate the gap between foreign talent and Japanese society through education.”
Our goal is not only to dispatch talent, but also to build a company that can provide ongoing support and value in various aspects — such as increasing our client companies’ sales, improving service quality, and expanding market reach.
As Japan’s working-age population continues to decline, it is inevitable that the demand for foreign workers will increase.
When companies suffering from labor shortages are eventually faced with this challenge, we want them to immediately think, “If we consult WBH, they’ll find a solution.” To become that kind of trusted partner, we are committed to continuously improving ourselves every day.
